FAQs

Do you run workshops?

Yes I do! I run one off 3 hour long sessions sporadically throughout the year. Please check back here for updates or sign up to my newsletter.

I also offer private bookable group sessions for hire for special occasions like birthday parties, hen dos or other events. Please send me an email if you’d like to know more.

Where do you ship to?

I ship all over the world! International postage is calculated at the checkout. I try to keep postage costs for international customers as low as possible so it is not prohibitive to own a piece of my work.

What kind of paper do you use?

I use a mix of Japanese Ho-Sho, and recycled acid-free printing papers for editioning.

What carving tools do you use?

Swiss-made Pfeil gouges, as well as Flexcut micro palm set tools. I keep them sharp with a Flexcut slipstrop.

What ink do you use?

Caligo Safe-wash Relief ink by Cranfield, and Stay Open Hawthorn relief inks.

What material are you carving on?

Traditional Hessian backed Linoleum.

How do you transfer drawings to blocks?

I use carbon paper to transfer elements I want to get exact,  and then draw directly on the block with permanent marker to add in extra designs.

Where is your artwork exhibited?

I currently have work on exhibition in Chicago, Washington France and on instagram. I will have work on exhibition for Dorset Art Weeks in Bridport on May 27th-29th, and in Wimborne during December.

What is your art about?

I take inspiration from people and stories- historical and contemporary, factual and make-believe. I take elements of my inspiration from nature, the sea, womanhood. I like my work to have a flowing feel with an unusual composition.
